How donations are used
Funds raised through this appeal support the humanitarian medical work of Palestine International Medical Aid (PIMA), Registered Charity No. 1144772. The card fee is the only deduction, and every transfer is published.
Who is behind this appeal
Someone in Gaza is an independent appeal, organised in London by a volunteer. The organiser receives no salary, fee, commission or other payment from it. The appeal is not itself a charity, and it is not run by PIMA.
Where the money goes
Palestine International Medical Aid (PIMA) is a UK registered charity (No. 1144772) working with doctors and hospitals in Gaza, providing medicines, medical supplies and care for patients. See its entry on the Charity Commission register.
PIMA confirmed in writing on 15 September 2026 that it will receive the funds raised by this appeal for its medical work in Gaza. Money is never sent to individuals or any other organisation.

Payments are processed by Stripe and paid into a bank account used only for this appeal. The appeal's funds are passed on at least once a month, and each transfer is listed on Where the money has gone.

Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards; more for premium, EEA and international cards. Advertising, the website and every other cost are paid by the organiser and never taken from donations. They are listed openly on the transparency page.
If plans change
There is no target, so nothing is left over: everything raised is passed on. If PIMA could no longer accept or use the funds for medical aid in Gaza, we would pause donations and say so here. Any funds not yet passed on would go to another UK registered charity providing medical aid in Gaza, named here first. If that were not possible, we would offer refunds in line with Charity Commission guidance.
Refunds
If you gave by mistake, email support@someoneingaza.org within 30 days with your reference. We will refund you in full if the money has not yet been passed on.
